Behold the Godless Rising. "Battle Lords" immediately grasps the listener by the throat, impressing the metalhead with a sound that is destructive, grinding and sick yet technical and demonstrative of accomplished musicianship. These guys aren't just wanking out heavy, loud blatherings. A little complexity and structure makes for death metal that is listenable and interesting, not just something to kill chickens to.
