Harshness as transcendence. A) Torture Machine’s manipulation of white noise and whatever the hell else is mixed up in here makes for a compelling audioscape you might find startling but which may actually bring you to a point of metaphysical meditation. The album as a whole provides a sort of solid arc of audio progression as one flows through a land of static, etc., turned into experimental art for your ears.
